alliance - an agreement between two or more nations to help each other
   
allies - the nations which have formed an alliance
   
ally - one of the member nations of an alliance
   
armistace - an agreement to stop fighting while a formal treaty of peace is negotiated
   
isolationism - the policy of refusing to interact with or get involved in the affairs of other nations
   
neutral - not taking sides in a fight between others
 
neutrality - the policy of being neutral
 
propaganda - information or ideas intended to persuade people to think and/or act a certain way; often tells or shows only one side of a story
   
ratify - to accept or approve
   
reparations - money to pay for damages caused by a war
